Sharp County makes two arrest for Meth Labs

The Sharp County Sheriff's Department with the assistance of the 3dr judicial district Drug Task Force and the Highland Police Department executed two search warrants on August 19th. The first search warrant was executed at #4 Nocturn Dr. in Williford Arkansas at the home of Clarence Wilson Jr. age 53. Ofiicers found components used in the manufacture of methamphetamine. Mr. Wilson was currently out on bond for a previous charge of possission of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) which was found during a previous search warrant was executed on his home. A second search warrant was then executed at 84 White Oak Circle in highland Arkansas. Officers found components used in the manufacture of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) as well as methamphetamine. The suspect at 84 White Oak Circle, David W. Smalley returned home during the search warrant and admitted to Investigators that the components and methamphetamine lab was his. Clarence Wilson Jr is currently being held in the Sharp County Jail awaiting formal charges of possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to manufacture methamphetamine a class B felony. David W. Smalley, age 45 was arrested and is also being held in the Sharp County jail awaiting formal charges of manufacturing a controlled substance (methamphetamine) a class Y felony. A Haz-Mat clean up team was called in to the Highland address to dispose of the meth lab.
