On 12/09/09, Sharp County received a call from Rick Miller who reported that he had just had two men at his residence at 560 Antioch rd. in Evening Shade. He stated that he came home and caught the men breaking into his home. Mr. Miller initially let the men leave after one of the men claimed that they were at the wrong house. Mr. Miller then found that the man who had gone into his home had taken some of his guns and other items. Mr. miller chased the Blue Dodge truck they were in down and confronted the man. The man was later identified as William Andrew Villari age 27, of Evening Shade. Officer Steve Dobbs of the Evening Shade POlice Department spotted the vehicle and stopped it at #33 Park Circle in Evening Shade. The driver of the truck was then identified as Justin Clough. Det. Sgt. Mark Counts and Ken Guidry also responded to the scene and met with the two men. Mr. Clough cooperated with Detectives and gave permission for his vehicle to be searched. At that time additional stolen property was recovered that belonged to Mr. Miller. Both men were taken to the Sharp County Sheriff's Department to be interviewed. In the early part of December, William Sharp of Evening Shade had his home burglarized several times. These incidents seemed to occur each time he would leave his home to attend a church function. From information gathered during the investigation of Mr. Miller's burglary, two search warrants were executed which led to evidence linking Mr. Villari to Mr. Sharp's burglary. On 12/11/09 Det. Sgt. Counts obtained information that a Ruger Blackhawk revolver had been thrown into Piney Creek near Evening Shade. The Arkansas Game and Fish Commision's Search and Recovery Dive Team was contacted and agreed to assist Detectives in recovering the weapon. Officers Brian Gaskins, Justin Smith and Jody Pendarvis responded to Piney Creek on Bear Creek Rd. The Master Divers from the Search and Recovery Dive Team utilized two divers and covered approximately 1000 square feet in extremely frigid waters. After searching for almost an hour the weapon was located and turned over to Det. Sgt. Counts. It was also found that Mr. Villari attended church with Mr. Sharp and knew Mr. Sharp's Schedule. Mr. Sharp also told Detectives that when Mr. Sharp told Mr. Villari that he had been burglarized, Mr. Villari told Mr. Sharp not to tell anyone if he finds out who did this so he could take care of them. William Andrew Villari is currently being held in the Sharp County Jail on charges of Residential Burglary and several counts of Theft by receiving.
