Traffic crash leads to Meth Lab bust

On 10/13/09, Deputy Brian Coble investigated a traffic accident in the Hardy area. His investigation lead to a welfare check of a cabin in the rural Sharp county area. During the welfare check, Deputy Coble found the cabin in question had been broken into. While checking further he located two subjects in the cabin as well as components to a Meth Lab. Det sgt. Mark Counts, Det. sgt. Ken Guidry, Chief Deputy David Huffmaster, Special Agent Wendel Jines and Drug Task Force Agent Mike Zeiger responded to the scene. A search warrant was obtained for the property and components, as well as Methamphetamine was found in the residence. Arrested in the cabin was Robert James Yerbey, age 20 of Dyess, AR and Deania Melissa Harston age 39 of Lepanto, AR. Also arrested related to this incident was John D. White 3rd. age 18 of Lepanto, AR. All three subjects are currently being held in the Sharp County jail pending charges.
